Westies have received a thank you letter (attached) from Rob de Castella for our volunteering participation at the Warrior Run held in Centennial Park on Sunday 2 September, aka Father’s Day.

A total of 16 Westies or family marshalled the courses, and all volunteers also received a letter and certificate of thanks from Rob.

This is the 4th year of the Run in Sydney, and the 4th year that Westies have been volunteers.

The event raises funds for Rob’s Indigenous Marathon Foundation, a not-for-profit charity that uses running to drive social change, create inspirational leaders and provide life-changing opportunities.

The Centennial Park Trust partnered with the event organisers to host markets and promote the event as a festival. A great day was enjoyed by all.
