Reminder – the long-running competition is again being conducted this year and is currently happening.

The Saunders Cup is organised to acknowledge the contribution to Westies of past president and life member, Ken Saunders and his wife Georgie and daughter Linda. The Cup is conducted in conjunction with the existing handicaps with the purpose of providing a competition for everyone and especially to give an incentive for those who for reasons may no longer be competitive in their handicap.

You do not enter the Saunders Cup per se. Everyone who runs in the 10km and/or 3.5km is automatically entered. Two competitions. Two cups. You simply compete your handicap as usual.

As per last year the Saunders Cup 2019 for every participant is being scored from the 3 highest scoring results out of the last 5 of the handicap series, ie from April to August inclusive.

The two Saunders Cup 2019 Progressive Point-scores to date are available on the 3.5km Results page and on the 10km Results page.
